Svetlana has successfully been teaching Russian to bilinguals and heritage speakers ages 13 – 15 at a private Russian Language & Culture center.

Consecutive interpretation projects:

English to Russian and Russian to English consecutive interpreting for a group of Tajik government officials visiting U.S. Government officials, the Institute of Peace and more.

DC Correctional Treatment Facility (CCA)

English to Russian and Russian to English consecutive interpreting at appointments with detainee and legal representative.

June 13-23, 2014 – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC)

English to Russian and Russian to English consecutive interpreting for a group of Kazakh nurses and physicians at the UPMC and Hillman Cancer Center (focus: oncology).

May 17-19, 2014 – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Magee Women’s Hospital and Open World 

English to Russian and Russian to English consecutive interpreting for a group of visiting OB/GYNs (focus: gynecology).
